Hi there, approx 5 yrs ago i went to a lawyer for advice on bankruptcy or what should i do about collection agencies and credit cards... i was told to avoid the bankruptcy and see if anyone sues.. out of a ton of credit cards, only 1 sued (5yrs ago) and they won a judgement.. the judgement comes off soon.. should i worry about this in the future... also years ago, my house was forclosed upon.. i owed 57k, it sold for 69k (shouldnt i have gotten something from this).. also if i had an equity loan, wouldnt this have to be paid before the house transferred.. the foreclosure shows pd on my credit report, the equity not pd.. incidentally before the foreclosure the house was on the market for 99k, a year after it transferred the house sold for 115k doesnt seem fair
