Collector Harrassment

I read below your post regarding harrassment, and I read the Fair Credit Collections Act, but I do not see what means I need to prove harassment. For multiple reasons I have been unable to pay some old credit card bills. The credit was originally set up in Georgia and I am now in California. One of the collectors has been harrassing me at work even though I have asked him repeatedly not to, I have even told him that I could lose my job if he didn't stop calling me at work and he replied with "I can make you lose more than that, do you want me to send a sherriff to your place of employment to serve you with papers and take your car?" The debt is not on my car, it's on a store credit card. I have not made a detailed record of his calls like I should have. This morning he called my place of employment and asked our receptionist for my supervisor's name and he wanted to speak with her. She told him she could not give out that info, but transferred him to my boss anyway. He proceeded to ask my boss questions about me and told her he was going to file suit against me. She asked for his name (which he would not give) and she told him that he could not call my place of employment, and that he shouldn't call back here again. She told him if he called me or anyone else at my office again she was going to file harrassment charges. He began yelling at her so she hung up on him. He then called back later in the day and asked our receptionist what time I get off of work. Again, she told him she couldn't give out that information.

What can I do?
