send them NO money .. the SOL has expired in both states so what " i'd do " if i were you id pull all 3 of my credit reports ( its always good to do that twice per year ) to see what they look like & than id send a C & D letter to them stating STOP ALL ACTIONS IDENTIFYING THE DEBT .. id send this out return reciept requested ( costs like 5 bucks ) this is to prove they actually recieved the C & D order .. once they get that under federal law they must leave you alone .. even though its past the SOL they can still sue you if their stupid enough cause under law ANYONE CAN SUE ANYONE but once in court IF it gets there which i highly doubt you'll win based upon the SOL expiring .. just my opinion , so good luck , kelly ....................
