Hi all,First question is, Can A.R.M. collections take us to court over a Heilig/Meyers account, for $967.oo? It was a computer we got through Heilig Meyers in Ohio and they went bankrupt and closed the store here. The actual computer price was paid off,the amount owed was just the interest. Ok second question! Nextcard is also Bankrupt, and hubby owes over $3000(with overlimits and late charges running it up to that amount.) What can the company do about collecting that? Its been turned over to someone else to collect(name escapes me right now). Was sending small payments until recently. Question 3, Aspire sent a paydown offer to hubby that had 3 options, one was to pay 3 payments of $81.00 then there would be 0 apr.interest from then on as long as we made minimum payments each month. We have sent 2 $81.00 payments so far, what do you think,is this a rip off offer, anyone had a paydown offer from them? Thanks all, deluxejo
