No, it's 15 years in Ohio-a credit card is obtained by signing a written contract-duh!(particularly in the pre-internet days) and you have x amount of time to dispute the validity within that 1st year-if it's paid on past that, then there is no dispute-also-what makes you think you have a right not to pay? you ran it up!-that's kind of scummy of you. If you made better decisions in your life, such as the decision to LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS or somewhere near your means, or at least HONOR YOUR CONTRACTS WITH YOUR CREDITORS then you wouldn't be in such a retarded situation. Whatever goods and services you obtained were technically theived by you because (duh)YOU NEVER PAID FOR THEM!!! YOU JUST DIDN'T HAVE THE ACTUAL GONADS TO GO INTO THE STORES AND STEAL THE ITEMS OFF OF THE SHELFS! You just played nice with the credit card company and thought that maybe time would heal the wound.
