Hi Eric. My MBNA cc was for $3600. Yes, after MBNA charged it off at the end of December 2002, I've started getting calls from NCO. I talked to one person in the "prelegal" department and she asked if I was going to pay and I said if I had the money I would have already paid, but no unfortunately I can't. She went on to say I would be sorry and she would refer it to the legal department. I then got a rude message from a man stating he was in the legal department, I better return the call, they would show me what they were going to do, blah-blah-blah. Needless to say I am not returning the call. This has only started so I have no idea what is really going to happen with them. I don't really understand it, YET. ;-) I am in SC so from what I understand they only have 3 years to sue me, is that right?? Good luck!
