Well, what actions should I take? Here is what I have so far. When Capital Management Services first called (this was the first time my sister and I had ever heard of them), my sister was at work, and I was the one that answered the call. The man gave me his name and phone number, what company he worked for, AND told ME it was regarding my sister's Providian Visa Account. Hey, he can't tell me that, can he? Also, my sister stated in the certified letter that she sent on Monday that they may not call her at work and here it is Friday and they called her at work. I don't know if they've gotten the certified letter yet. I tried seeing if I could track it online, but I didn't see where I could do that. However, my sister will get a receipt or something from the Post Office in the mail, stating when they received the letter, so that will help a lot. Also, on Wednesday, Capital Management called at 9:30 pm our time, so that is violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I'm just wondering what my sister can do now? Should she just ignore them, report them, what? I'm doing all this work for my sister, by the way I'm 3 years younger than her, because she's a very sensitive person and every time she talks to the jerks at CMS, she cries. And I care about her a lot, and I just want this whole thing to be settled and taken care of.
