I do NOT believe "D's" story Why Chat, it is 100 percent true. I swear on it. I got a call from NCO in October, they proceeded to violate the FDCPA 29 times that I recorded, there was probably more. I sent a validation letter, and I filed with the FTC, BBB, and the NYC attorney General and Consumer affairs. I threatened them with a 50,000 federal lawsuit. They had just deleted me on the 17th of January, I had them fax me a deletion letter which I now have in my possession. I am holding onto that for dear life. NCO had responded to the attorney general that they had closed my account and it was being deleted off all CRA reports within 30 days. It says that in the letter I received. Here is my question, how can I have MBNA remove it??? That is causing me trouble. Can I sue MBNA for NCO's violations??? But I am 100 percent telling the truth about this. I called MBNA to see about having them remove it and they told me that they do not own the debt, it is NCO's and that is it. They told me they cannot change reporting on it and I cannot make any payments on it because it is not there account anymore.
