Received letter of settlememt from RMa. Called Sears to find out if they owned or RMA owned. Sears asked for and I gave them my SS, and last address. They then told me to call RMA. I disputed with cra's as not mine and dates wrong. It came back verified. Have I screwed myself regarding the validation process? Also, when sending out validation letter to collector should I include Wollman letter and Spears VS. Brennan. Also if they dont respond within 30 days with proper validation, what do I do then? I spoke with a cra and they stated they didnt know what options I had if i didnt get response to validation request.
