I've been reading this board for 6 mos or so. Thanks for all the information you all have provided. I am ready to start improving my credit but have some questions.

Validation: I haven't been contacted by a CA in years. Can I still send validation letters to them? If so, would it be helpful? I am in PA (all accounts were opened in IL though) and all SOL's are up.

Credit Bureaus: Is there a law that states you can only challenge 4 items on your reports at a time?

I have a number of charge/off collections on my reports--multiple duplicate accounts; re-aged accounts, etc. They are all about 6 years old with some re-aged to expire in 2 or more years. What is the best way to tackle these?

FYI---The you can send certified mail via the USPS online now. I pland to send my disputes this way. I'll let you all know how it works out.
