I live in fl.,the item i am talking about is. I hold a license with the FCC for microwaves channel. It is an E channel, this license was leased to a partnership who owns and operates a wireless cable system. I, who own it, and 4 other partners who have formed a general partnership have leased it to this operating system for 9 more years with a option to renew for 15 more. What i am really trying to find out is this: If i file bk, 7 or 13, this has to be listed and the money could be used to pay off these cc debts. I have no intentions of defaulting on any other debts. However, if i let the cc go to ca, then judgement, and at that time try to make settlement agreements with them, since i live in fl, i can file as hoh, i have a joint account checking with spouse as primary, and everything else is financed and current, and will remain current. I receive monthly income from this partnership, and file a K1 at tax time. This investment can not be sold, transfered, ect, it is to be passed on to beneficiaries at time of death. Do you know of anyway to keep this money in my hands, and not have it be taken. And if the money with a judgement can be taken, can it only be taken until the settlement amount is paid. PLEASE, why chat, i've been to 5 attnys. they don't know either, this is the only thing I have..i have no 401, no pension, annuity or live insurance or anything else...help me with whatever advice you can THANKS
