If I were you, I would not send them ANY letter.

If you send them a letter disputing the account, they smell blood !! It means you are "credit aware" and want to improve your credit. That means it would be worthwhile to file suit against you and tack on legal fees to make it worth while.

Let it alone, don't respond until you are safely past SOL.
