My wife had a membership with these clowns back in 96-97 and stopped going. the date of last activity on the account (2 bureaus) is 1/97. Financial Credit LLC is the collector handling the account. I sent them a validation in July 2002 and they sent a letter then stating that "documentation to support our claim has been ordered..." It was placed in a "cease communication disposition" and haven't heard from them since. transunion last updated 10/02. it says date opened 1/99 with fin. cred. It was opened in the state of Texas so the SOL is four years across the board. What should we do now?
