I think that it is more likely that if they file suit, they will search for you. On my post yesterday, why chat said that the papers I received saying I was being sued seemed fishy because the suit was filed 8 months prior. But, I think that its more likely the result of my moving and not filing for change of address with the postal service. If you share your phone number or new address with any company, it's like sending it out to everyone.
I suggest you invest in caller id if you want to avoid talking to them for a while.
