Bankruptcy does not dismiss a judgment, it discharges the underlying debt. Once a judgment is entered, there is additional legal work to do to vacate the judgment itself.

If you can file before the court date, then do so. Then you go to court and give them your BK case # and it will be dismissed before a judgment is ever entered.
