The presumed purpose of "validation" is to either obtain documentation of (or no documentation) in order to have an account remved from your credit report.

Unless it is a completely false account, (absolutely not yours) The only thing you can accomplish if it is within SOL, is to alert the CA to your interest in improving your credit.

This is then a signal that you are vulnerable to a lawsuit. Unless the account is NOT yours, wait until you are beyond SOL before stirring up the nest of hornets.
