Indiana permits mail service, Mo does not. Was it certified mail with a return receipt that you signed for? If they know you are contesting the case, they would need to refile in Mo. and given that it is small claims court, it would not be cost effectve. When exactly did you default on this loan? Was it a revolving line of credit or for a fixed term?
