most credit card companies have ZERO mercy & once they feel your on the edge ( some pull your reports every yr or so ) EVEN if your current & making payments they mostly all give you that final push over the edge into either chargeoff OR bankruptsy .. why do they do this , well some will tell you its to protect themselves but the truth is if you ask 5 different people you'll get 5 different answers so who knows really but seems the logical thing would be to go easy on the interest instead of drowning people into 25 % from like 6 % , its crazy & honestly i for one have no respect for any of them just becouse of this .. i dont know your exact situation but in my opinion & just MY opinion if i were you id speak to a BK attorney ... good luck , kel ....
