why chat-i've followed this post for the last few weeks. i'm a little confused...i understand sending the stature letter to the collector. but, sending the above documentation to cra's still puzzles me... i'm unable to locate the case.. i realize its not your job to do every detail of work.. i live in california and have a balance past sol for legal action, but, 2 years left for reporting negative info on cra's.. Do i need an attorney to research this case.. could you please spell it out more clearly..The above statement reads, "Communicating or threatening to communicate to any person information which is known or which should be known to be false, including the failure to communicate that a disputed debt is disputed." i understand this.. I just dont understand how this is meant to include the removal of a balance past the sol. on a credit report...
