Is the account charged-off ? When did this happen ? $4600 is not that great a 'deal' really. Neither is 'settlement paid in full' - bad, bad entry for your credit report. Unless the OC is going to send you a 1099-C for the debt, they WILL sell the rest to another CA, they're lying ! DO NOT give them your bank account info for ANY reason, you'll find your bank account drained and checks bouncing all over the place. BAD OPTION.
