Before anyone can garnish or levy a bank account, they have to sue you, win, and be awarded a judgment against you. They then decide what enforcement method to pursue to collect. You would probably receive either interrogatories to answer which asks about your assets, income, and expenses, where you work, bank, etc., or be required to appear in court for a debtor's examination for the same process. If that happens, you have to list all your bank accounts - that's how they get your account info to levy it.
