What about Oregon? Is Oregon a community property state? I, too, have lots of CC debts and ALL are in my name only. Can they take my wife's money? We have separate bank accounts.
I know the SOL in Oregon is 6 or 7 yrs. If I move to CA, will the SOL of my debts change to 3 yrs? What are the advantages or disadvantages for me moving to CA? I have no assets. All cc debts went to charge-off w/ last payments about 1 yr ago. I never made any payments to ca.
