Yes, they are legal with a judgement. Hubby's ex-wife lives in Missouri and she had her wages garnished twice a couple of years ago after being sued for not paying two credit cards (Citibank VISA and Discover Card, I think). Sorry can't help with finding laws ... might find info on WhyChat's site.
