They have no legal right to sue you for this debt. The statute of limitations of which patti speaks ran out a LONG time ago in every state in the US. SCAMCO is pure scum, total crooks and they make their living by scamming people into paying ancient debts that you don't have to pay on. Do as patti states, send these scumbags WhyChat's expired SOL letter ASAP, certified, RRR. Keep track of when you get the green card back. Their threats of legal action are ILLEGAL as they cannot take ANY legal action at all. This is a violation of the FDCPA. You should also e-mail scott (I'm sure he'll pipe in here), he's compiling data for a lawsuit against this pustulant company !
