The figure Citi gave you is probably way off base. Did you ever tell them how much your take-home pay is ?? If not, then the guy pulled a number out his butt. They can ONLY take 25% of your NET pay, period. Would that be $300 ??

Further, they cannot garnish anything without first suing you and winning a judgment, and you'd know if that was happening.

If you want to make payment arrangements, WRITE up an offer of a plan YOU can afford and send it certified RRR mail -keep all copies and receipts.

When was the last time you paid the ORIGINAL creditor ??
