I have recently been sued by an individual again (he appealed). He lost the first time and now appealed the decision in a bench trial. I had no lawyer and am afraid. I am broke too. If he gets the decision this time, I will owe roughly $4,000. We are single income and I don't have it. I live in TX, own a home and my vehicle. What will happen if I just don't pay? Can they garnish my spouses wages or our joint account. Please help!
