This has been really crazy. The actual event took place in 1994. It was over car repairs. He charged 1,021.12 for repairs on my car that never ran again. So, I stopped paymant on my check. The original judgement was FOR HIM, but only in the amount of $200.00. The judge said that he did not believe his work was ethical, but awarded him court costs. He appealed. It got pushed down, lost, etc and was just now set for new bench trial. I went and I am still waiting for an outcome. Can they file a lien on my home? I am the primary account holer on our checking. If so, how does the lien work?
