Accord & satisfaction whychat or anyone

I'm in CA and got Wachovia to accept a check stamped saying that if they cash it they accept it as full amount and they did. My CR shows account paid in full for less than the full amount. MBNA just cashed the check and put Wolpoff & Abramson on my butt!! I was wondering if any one could let me know why MBNA refuses to accept Accord & satisfaction when I sent a letter to them stating I wanted to settle the account and would be sending an endorsed check with a stamp for settling the account. And if they cashed said check, the account should be settled! Any help would be nice. Thanks Burton
