I didn't know if they were trying to get an idea of my income and expenses (an expense sheet is included too to list every single expense imaginable). I thought that just MAYBE they were going to try to somehow "re-do" the loan to include enough money to pay for the mold remediation so I could safely move back into the home. Do you think that's wishful thinking on my part? I have asked them to do that a thousand times already, and they were not interested in doing it before.

Yes, I did get an attorney and consulted with several others. No attorney would just sue for damages. The only way they would take the case was to sue for a complete recission of the purchase agreement to "un-do"the sale, which by doing it that way costs me $10,000 in attorney and court fees. ($10,000 I don't have I might add.....just to get out of a mold ridden house.)

Yes, I agree that the seller was deceptive and there is no way I believe he didn't know about the mold after having lived in that house for 16 years. I feel very, very taken.

Should I even bother to contact them by phone to see WHAT their intentions really are by me filling out this form and providing them with a hardship letter, which I might add I have sent them a VERY, VERY detailed letter TWICE now explaining my situation, along with the mold estimate, and along with a documented diary I kept every single day since noticing the mold.
