SOL for FL is FOUR years, SOL in KY is FIVE years, so, no matter what state they claim its from the SOL has EXPIRED.

Ignore their bogus '48 hour' time limit, its a scare tactic and pure BS. Since the debt is time-barred, they can't legally sue you either and IF they do, you can have it dismissed based on the SOL.

In both states, you would have to have had a NEW SIGNED agreement to restart the SOL period - if you didn't sign anything, there's NO NEW AGREEMENT and the SOL has NOT restarted.

Go to WhyChat's site and copy the Expired SOL C&D letter linked below. The FL state statue is also on WhyChat's site, you'll need them to fill in the blanks in the letter. WhyChat doesn't currenly have KY, I'll dig it up and repost it here for you. I'd use both states just to make your point. Then send these crooks the letter certified, RRR and keep copies of everything.
