Found out today there was a judgement taken out December 28, 1993. I called North Carolina Attorney General's Office and the lady told me that a judgement is for 10 years in this state. She also explained that they can file another one after this 1st 10 year judgement is up. That will make it 20 years..... The sheriff is from my home town. He is for real.... Is there any advice you can give me now???? Or can anyone help me........
