Sorry to hear that you are having these problems. I know there are medications to help keep this disorder under control. I don't know if you are on any or not because that is your business but if you are not maybe it is an option. A good one at that. I never heard of mental illness being a defense for any bills but you could try. I am not a lawyer but I do suffer from depression and know that I could not live without my medications. It is hard enough to live WITH them.

I wish you peace and healing and good luck. Bankruptcy is a good idea at this time and who cares if they don't like it. You need to get out of the hot water you are in. Stay away from the credit cards and work on getting better. I wish you peace and healing. It certainly isn't fun, is it?
