I purchased a 2000 ford focus . In 2001 I had a baby and could no longer work and pay my car note. My uncle and family told me they would take care of it for me. Unfortunatly they have not . It is now 2003 and the car is up for repo. It has been since 2001. I didn't know. Even when I started working and relocated out of town my uncle told me not to worry about it because he wanted me to get on my feet. Now they are looking for me. I want to turn the car in I dont want any problems. But I can't afford to go to jail, or court what should I do? Will turning the car in just give me bad credit? I can deal with that Or will it send me to jail?
