Camco- florida treasury office called me(wow)

Ok this is unreal but this is how it goes. Camco says they are an investment firm in florida and not a collection agency(hahahaha) but it really does not matter. Florida legislation states they nobody is allowed to go after a collection agency and therefore they are untouchable in that state. Actually any CA is pretty much untouchable and can trample your rights. The guy I talked to was not happy about it anyway as he said he had another company with around 30 complaints they tried to go after and were stuffed. These companies, he said, are protected by the great senators and reps of florida and money is involved(alot of it from what he said). He said their office is not even allowed to go to camco and subpoena them for records to even prove they are a CA. He said the best thing to try is a letter writing campaign to the local reps/senators in florida out of tallahassee so I will get the info and do all I can that way. I will post places to call/write/fax as soon as I can.
