The agency that deals with violations of Fl. collection agency laws is the Dept. of Agr. they also handle complaints against out of State CAs.I do not know of any Fl "legislation" that could block a class action suit.

Whoever you spoke to at Tom Gallagher's office was very confused, (not unusual in Fl Republican bureaucracy) as a point of fact, Camco Investments Co. is an inactive Fl Corp.

Why did you not join the class action suit filed last year in Tampa against Camco?
