Help need fast answer concerning charge off

I applied for a mortgage loan and to my surprice Arrow has taken ownership of a charge off from five years ago i'm in NC. The original creditor Capital one is not on my report. Arrow shows balance of $1567 high credit was only $900. I have letter from a few years ago where they said they woud settle for $268. The mortgage officer said i have one weeks to satisyfy this charge off. If i contact them to settle is there anything specific I should ask for. I don't want to call them but with only 7 days are there any other options.
