Yes, in many states now, there are "get checking" classes that you can take. It is a one day class offered by credit counceling....granted you have paid any money owed to the bank that put you into check systems and it is not listed as fraud, once you pass this course they waive the 5year waiting period. I don't know the website, but maybe if you type in the name "get checking"in the search engine you will find it....They list locations and phone numbers where the classes are offered.
