1 - Your sister needs to dispute bankruptcy entry as NOT MINE. Send the dispute letter certified, RRR.

2 - The ONLY time a spouse's debts ends up on your mother's report is a- if the account was joint or b) if she lives in a community property state.

Even if she is in a community property state, if the debts were incurred BEFORE the marriage or AFTER the divorce, then they should NOT be on HER report.

Other than that, being married to someone does NOT mean you married their debts !!!
