Another is to answer the phone, then put it down and walk away, let them talk to the air - they'll hang up.

Remaining dead calm works too, they are out to get your goat, to get you angry and upset. If you don't allow them to do that, it really does make them mad.

Another method I've read people use - the run-around. Don't answer any question with an answer, answer all their questions with another question, admitting nothing and giving them ZERO information. They get annoyed at this and hang up.

The BEST way to handle CA's - DO NOT TALK TO THEM AT ALL.
