If the car was repossesed in 1995, that means you went delinquent on it some time before the repo. Forgetting the actual repo SOL thing for now, the SOL in your state of MA ran out in 2001 - 6 years from the time you went delinquent. Since the reporting period for Chrysler credit for a delinquent account is 7 years, that means this has already dropped off your credit report in 2002. So, you've passed the SOL several ways.

You really don't have to bother with validation at this point, send them the expired SOL letter on WhyChat's site. Unless you really want to keep dealing with these scumbags, and they probably can't or won't validate anyway, then send the validation letter. Personally, I wouldn't bother with it. Their past the limit and haven't a legal leg to stand on - the MA SOL has expired for the contract AND the SOL on collecting on a deficiency from a repo has LONG expired.

Just tell 'em to go slither back under their rock...
