Assuming this was a legitimate business transaction, and not some kind of personal relationship gone sour, or a con man cheating or extorting $$,I suggest you get yourself a lawyer ASAP.

Anyone foolish enough to loan that kind of $$ without proper legal documentaton, and THEN come to a public bulletin board for collection advice needs either a lawyer or a psychiatrist.
