There are two old accounts with the First National Bank of Marin that went delinquent in either 1995 or 1996, both of them. Nothing ever came about it other than they were placed on 2 of the 3 major CRA (Exp & TU). I am of the opinion that the 7 yrs has run for coming off my CR, but certainly the SOL for purposes off filing suit in court. I just obtained a copy of my credit report and it reflects that in 12/02, Arrow Financial Services reported to Exp & TU that a collection of $738.00 is due and the account is open. I read the FNBM section and it reads transferred/sold. Since I never rec'd anything from Arrow Financial, and the amount of the two FNBM equal the $738.00, I suspect Arrow was the creditor that bought the accounts. Can they reage the accounts and a new SOL/7 yr period runs? How should I proceed in addressing this with Arrow financial. What can anyone tell me about arrow Financial? Thanks everyone for your input.
