Sears is at it again

Sears is screwing with me. I was an authorized user on ex's Sears card. My AU status removed last year. They continue to report account with overdue balance. They refuse to remove this from my credit report stating that since ex had late payments prior to terminating my AU, they can continue to report for 7 years after i was removed 5/02. last late payment listed is 7/2000 does this sound right to you??
