Help please

I disputed the bal. on my credit report, the CRA contacted First USA, this is the summery of what First USA sent us.

After reseaching your dispute, including a review of our records related to the account, we were unable to clearly determine your responsibility for the account. Therefore, we informed the CRA that the account should be reported as disputed on your credit file pending a further investigation

Will this acct. be removed from my credit report permantly, if not what else can I do to have it taken off.

This acct. is way past SOL and I do not feel that anymore needs to be paid on this acct. because of a verbale settlement upheld on my part but not on the CA's part 5yrs ago.

Any help will be appreciated
