Ok, let us start at the beginning. We need more info. A collector can wait as long as they want. Nothing states they have to continuously collect(and who the heck wants that). We need to know what kind of debt it was, when was your last payment and do you have any proof(you can validate for proof), and who is the collection agency. Your state requires a Ca to be licensed and bonded. I or others would be more than happy to find out if they even are.
