Approx. 18 years ago I was placed on probation and ordered to pay court restitution in the state of PA. I made regular "cash" payments and paid the amount in question. 18 years later I find a judgement for this amount on my credit report. I disputed its validity with the credit bureau and it was removed. Since it was removed, the collection company started sending me collection letters for the amount in question.

I'm not sure what to do. If I call the collection company, I do not have receipts proving that I paid it. I will call the court house and check records but am assuming they have it as unpaid since a CA is sending letters. Would a SOL apply to court restitution in PA ?
