I guess I am just ignorant about this stuff. They aren't lawsuits; they are just collection agency letters. I can't pay them, though, so I guess it won't be long until they become lawsuits, though. I didn't realize they could put a lien on my home. How do I find out if that is possible in SC? If I did file bk could they take my house? What about my leased car? Can I keep it if I keep up the payments? What about my household belongings? Would them come into my home and take everything? Sorry for all of the questions; I am so confused and lost.
