I am in the same boat. Once you filed your answer make sure you get the case laws, statutes and FDCPA violations copied and ready to go. you should hear from the court within the next couple of weeks. Also, you should have sent your answer by certified mail and given the CA a long list of items they need to have as evidence to prove the balance is yours. Can I ask which CA this was?
