Charged-off in 12/02 and a 70% settlement offer in Feb is NOT a good deal. If you ignore this, they WILL offer you another settlement as it gets a bit more age on it. Just be cautious, as Citi will most likely sue you. You can certainly send your own settlement offer at 35-40%, but I wouldn't expect them to accept an offer that low just yet. If you do offer, most certainly negotiate the terms for your credit report.
