You have a CR from 2001. If the original Spiegel account had dropped off in 2001, then I'd say, yes, Midland has re-aged the debt and you have a valid complaing against them for violations of the FCRA. You can probably use that 2001 CR along with the present one to dispute the account(s) with the CRA's and get it deleted as well as sue Midland for illegally re-aging the debt.
